Tour description

The Tour start in the General Cemetery with a walking tour that will allow us to the all the architectonic styles represented in the Mausoleums are build by families to commemorate their origin or styles they love. Then we continue to Civic centre and we will visit the Presidential Palace, La Moneda, Constitution square, Ministries, Chamber of Commerce, Supreme Court, etc. Walk to the main square, Plaza de Armas, Post office and the Historic National Museum.
Then in República neighborhood we will discover the most elegant zone of Santiago at the end of the 1800 and beginning of the 1900, where we will pass near War Arsenals, Military Museum and Horse riding tracks Club of Santiago, founded in 1869.
In our way to Santa Lucia hill, where Santiago was founded by the Spaniards, we will pass by the Fine Arts Museum and the National Library and Archives. From there we will go to Lastarria. This is one of the most bohemian neighborhoods in Santiago, and it holds an important part of Chilean architectural heritage. Its streets have kept their old cobblestones, but have also been filled up with restaurants, bookstores, design shops, cafes, and hotels. The beautiful Forestal Park is adjacent to this neighborhood, which comes alive on weekends.
We will begin our descent towards the high sector of Santiago passing through some modern residential neighborhoods like Pedro de Valdivia Norte, Las Condes and Vitacura.
Admire the amazing buildings that will accompany our while walking in the financial district, on the western side of Santiago. See South America’s largest skyscrapers that are proof of the boom Santiago has experienced in the last few decades.
